We are very excited for the new golf season which is fast approaching!
Here is a brief recap of 2014 at Grovedale Golf & Country Club with plans for this upcoming season:
1. Last spring, we created a new website….. www.grovedalegolf.com 2. New picnic benches were installed on the deck. 3. New fairway yardage markers were installed to replace the unfortunately mutilated ones. 4. Brand new flags and new cups were introduced on all 18 greens as well as the putting green. 5. New benches were set up on the course for the convenience of all guests. 6. Towards the end of the season we purchased a new John Deere Roughs Mower to carve more groomed roughs.
The snow is melting quite fast on the course. The back 9 is drying up fast and should be ready soon. At this moment we’re working on Clubhouse renovations. We hope you will relish our new look, patronize our new facilities and support the club.
We have just purchased new grinder units for our mowers which will enable us to grind all our mower’s reels in-house. This will translate into a sharper and better quality cut on the greens, tee-boxes, fairways and roughs. These grinders were just delivered to us on April 8th, 2015, and we’re looking forward to working with them.
